Government organisationsare generally known to be lagging behind their citizens in the use of social networking sites with half departments having little or no presence such platforms. This study aims at understanding what type content affects attitude towards a Departments media pages and how they perceive message disseminated through The researchers have selected case Kerala Police (KPD) Facebook page for present study. Respondents who are post graduate students from various Mahatma Gandhi University, were subject different formats stimuli assess type/format itself department questionnaire. Not only will contribute knowledge base on research, this also help police across states India develop appropriate reach citizens. In order test hypotheses identify interactions between dependent independent variables, one-way ANOVA sample t-tests used. results revealed significant differences KPD itself. Among provided as stimuli, Hilarious memes generated most favourable department. respondents re-posting user was favourable. Image/ photo generates more positive compared video content. has that there is difference attitudes had priorinteractionwith KPDversus those priorinteraction.
